Ok, what would the outcome of these two pairings be and which would you do?

DH Snow Female x DH Snow Male

OR

DH Snow Female x DH Sunglow Male

I am anxious to see the outcomes.

I am certain on the first list, but the DH snow x DH sunglow is a little tricky.

DH snow x DH snow
on average - out of 16 babies, you would get...

1 snow
3 albinos (poss het anery/snow)
3 anerys (poss het albino/snow)
9 normals (poss DH snow)

DH snow x Hypo het Sunglow
on average - out of 16 babies, you would get (if my punnet square is correct - and it is pretty ugly at this point LOL)

6 hypos (1 hypo only, 2 dh sunglow, 1 dh ghost, 2 triple het for ???)
6 normals (1 normal, 2 het albino, 1 het anery, 2 dh snow)
2 sunglows (1 would be het anery)
2 albinos (1 would be het anery)

I hope that makes sense and that I am right.

Good Luck!

I think it depends on what your looking for out of the litter or what you are looking for financially. I would go with the Sunglow version, seems more exciting but thats just me. The snow snow would probably be more profitable.

You guys are genetic wizards! It took me like 20 minuutes to figure out the punette square for DH snow x DH Sunglow, but my results did agree with the above post.. Gosh the possiblities are endless.. It does boogle the mind... Anyways good luck with those and keep us updated with your decisions!

Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind
