Hey Steve and I were loking at those too, BUT we were told that they wern't being stocked by this particular company because they have a tendence to "bow in the middle" and cause gaps in the top corners due to the bowing. Steve and i are still impressed but we havent spoken to anyone other than this company about it and i would love to get some other opinions on it.. But thats what we were told. What a bargin though!

Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind

I think a lot of people have an over expectation of Vision Cages and end up not liking them.

Sure the manufacturer says that the cages are stackable... However those of us that own Vision cages we have experienced the Bowing of the bottom cages.

But who would not bow if they had to hold 3 or 4 cages each of them with a 40 pound snake, a 12 pound bowl full of water and say 20 pounds of bedding hide box and a wooden stick?

I like Vision cages.

I do not stack them more than two high. I use a rack to keep the bottom cages about 1.5 ft off the floor and to keep no more than 2 cages high.

I like the idea of this new 4 foot Visions. The Vent on the back looks of decent size. They do not have the dome to place a Ceramic Heating Element but I like the Pro Products Radiant Heat Pannels better anyway.

I think if this year I produce an extra Sunglow Boa. I will buy me some 25 or 30 of this four footers.

Any other coments welcome. Regards, Luis.

Cut a section of 3/4" round dowel to the exact inside height, and secure it (in the center, a couple inches in from the front) with a couple dabs of plumbers epoxy putty, or silicone. This size dowel does not obstruct viewing or access very much at all, while adding a SIGNIFICANT amount of strength. Try it, if you don't like the result it's not hard to remove.
Hope this helps,

uld do this right after i buy a quite a few other band cages,i would do something to keep them from bowing ,,but i don't think this price is going to last long, aleast thats what i gathered from the add,,

At the price they are asking and the clean cut appearance of visions I will most definetely want to pick up several. (I also like the added couple of inches to the depth over any of the competition.)
