My giants AND what is fair

SpikeNsquirt May 19, 2004 06:07 PM

As everyone knows the other day we found that our new male albino giant is missing his toes, well of course I don't want a replacement because we have already fallen in love with him. We were asked what he could do to make it right for us. I was just wondering what is fair to ask. I think that we are just going to ask him to remember us the next time we order from him...is that fair?

Maybe, a normal sence they are sort of on the lower end of the list, because that isnt right he gave you a leo with missing toes... I would get a baby normal... It is a big deal but i wouldnt make him give you a carrot tail or anything that is more if you got a dead leo, but with misssing toes i would say a normal leo, or even some free food ? just some ideas...

TLC- awnser what you think of those ideas. if you could please.....

At least that's what I would give you!

I think since the missing toes aren't endangering his health, and you don't want to ask for a refund or anything, it would be fine just to call him and ask him to remember you next time you order, or possibly ask him what he thinks should be done to make reperations.

i agree...i mean...depends how many toes hes missing...so if he still has enough to let him move about easily and doesn't look ike some peglegged creature...u should just definitely give him a call and make sure that next time u order from him that he makes sure that ALL the toes are there...but thats actually quite unexpected...who did u get him from?...the trempers right?

I'm not sure what we are going to do yet. I told my husband that was up to him. The little guy is parts of every toe on his right front leg. Like I said all in all it's going to be up to my husband what he wants to do. I am without a doubt not giving the little guy back because we love him already...lol

Having him remember you for the next time only does one thing. Makes you a repeat customer even though you got a less than perfect gecko! A seeming "Discount" could be conjured up for you on your next purchase! Think about it!

Of course I may be jaded by the fact that I recieved a kink tailed giant from Ron over the winter.

Don't reward someone for sending you a subpar animal by becoming a repeat customer. Ask for as much of your money back as you feel is fair.
