Did anyone else see that Pit that Jack Hanna had on Letterman last night? I think it was a bullsnake, but I couldn't get a good enough look to be sure.

I did. It was either a red northern Pine or a southern Pine. They only brought it out to make it hiss. They didn't even say what kind of snake it was or anything about the history of the species. The least they could have done was to say it was a Pine snake from North America and that they are an integral part of the environment.
Nima, it looked like a Northern or Southern Pine but i'm not sure either because i didn't get a real good look at it. I wish Jack would have mentioned a little more about the snake itself also instead of just trying to aggitate it to make it hiss. It was a nice looking large pit though.
Have a good one,
Gregg F.
