a small species of snake that matures in a short time (about a year) and is prety easy to breed... im looking to get experence with breeding before my cornsnakes are able to breed that way im not freaking out when the are.

I am not sure that there are any snakes that are easier to breed than cornsnakes...I would just wait until they are old enough. Just read as much as you can, talk to breeders, and ask for hints. Corns are one of the easiest snakes for beginners to breed, so you would be just as well off waiting.

african house snakes.... mine laid 5 clutches so far this year. they're small, easy to feed, and don't need to be seperated or cooled to breed. also try a pair of hognose. they breed easy too.
