Bedding

anakin_lestat Jun 17, 2003 01:10 PM

I just cleared off all the bedding in Europa cage. She is a lot more active now. I had about 4 inches of Oat Bran in there and she was just laying down in her "cave." After removing it she run around alot more and perches in her hot stop.

Would there be any reason to have bedding. Is it of any real benefit or just for them to lay on and play in and astetics?

No reason other then looks. I personaly use Paper towels or reptile carpet. It's safe, sanitary, and easy. No risk for inpaction from swallowing sand, or wood chips. No hidden poop. Nice and clean, and sanitary a healthy choice for your dragons habitat.
