My baby blizzard is walking with a limp

fadetolemons May 19, 2004 10:38 PM

Well I've been observing my baby blizzard that i got today and he seems to be fine walking around a lot, but when he does he walks with a jerky motion as if he has a limp in one of his legs or something. what is wrong? is this common with babies and will he grow out of it or could he have a broken leg??? I'm really worried now. Should i call the place I bought him from?

Well this is what's wrong with my baby leo. You know how when a leo walks, his body will curve one way, and his tail will curve the other, giving his body a general "S" shape? In other words, as their body waves one way to walk, their tail wags the opposite way, and it goes back and forth. Well i noticed that on one side of this guys tail at the base of it is a little bump, and i also noticed that his tail is slightly bent there. His tail can only bend to that side, so when he walks, his body can bend the opposite of that way, but then he'll bend the other way, and his tail can't bend that way, so he kind of jerks. I'm not sure if it's painful or not, what should i do about contacting the company?
