So Cal. western banded gecko pic . . . .>

terryp May 19, 2004 11:06 PM

Here's a pic of the western banded gecko I received from Tony. He was collected in the whitewater canyon area I believe. The pic may not be good enough. Do you think he's a Desert banded or San Diego banded gecko? Yes, he has dropped his tail.

are in Riverside County. I have been listing him as being from the whitewater canyon area. This appears to be throwing people off. I better switch to saying he is from Riverside County. He does look Abbotti to me. Now I need a female for him and I would like to try and get 2 donated Abbotti females to Chris McMartin if possible.

Confusion was the culprit Terry,
He is Abbotti.
I have a Verbenia male also I think that was the confusion.
I'll be letting you know if I spot one.
If so It will give you another excuse to drive another 5 hours.. ouch!

I did mix up the two geckos you have. I'm glad that my confusion has been clarified so I have this important piece of data correct.

I sincerely appreciate your efforts in finding my boys some mates. I'll email where my guys are from, if it's possible to get the females from the same general area.
