Making enclosure(s) from existing bookshelves?

kane65 May 20, 2004 08:54 AM

Has anyone tried this? The shelves that Walmart sells, look like Melamine & I just saw one that was about 18" deep. Looked like it could easily be converted into 3 'stacked' habitats or so.

Just curious if anyone's tried this or has some feedback. (I tried the cage forum but not a lot of response there.)

Thanks

The link below takes you to the photo gallery which has some pics of the type of bookshelf/bookcase/racks you are talking about I believe. Maybe you can email the people that posted the pics and ask them how they built them. I searched on the forums b/c I know I've seen a post about this topic, but I couldn't find it. Hope that helps some! Good luck!
