Good looking Anaconda. If that's the same one you posted the pic of hanging between the containers when younger, it looks like its saddles are lightening with age. I have a six year old whose saddles have lightened to outlines. Also, his yellow areas are turning green! I have several Yellows who are mature and still yellow and black. I think there are some different sub-species of Yellow Anaconda. It seems that in the light phase animals, the males get much larger than in the darks. Have you noticed this?

Same snake and I agree with you. She has changed color from very yellow to green. Im sure there are sub species of anaconda like the rest of the boa family (look at "generic" boa constrictor....how many localities are there??).
Good observation.

If i didn't know any better I'd say that boy fat! How much do you feed that sucker! I've over fed snakes before when I first started keeping them just because it was cool to watch them mutilate a mouse. Nice little characteristic "rolls" near the bends in the snake. Oh well...later

LOL!
Actually, its the exact opposite. She just broke an 8 month breeding fast last month. She lost alot of weight and the rolls/creases you see are from that loss. She eats a colossal rat (RodentPro) every week and it putting the size back on.
