Has anyone here drove up the dirt road from Langtry to Pandale? I can't find any info about it and I think I'm going there this wknd. I'm wondering: how long does it take, how rough, and where to camp in Pandale? I wonder if I drove up it during the day I could find a hognose...and an alterna at night! Lofty goal?
Thanks...

Yes I have driven it many times { like a dozen or more } all last year . E-mail me at catmanhu@idiom.com and we can trade phones #s then I can tell you more than you ever wanted to know about it . I even have a bunch of pictures that I took from " on the pandale dirt " as well as the phone # of a campsite where I bealive you can camp/stay . Cory

Pandale Dirt goes a long way up before it turns into a paved road
and then heads up to I-10. Most people only hunt the first couple
miles north of Langtry, and thus thats where the majority have come from. Take a spare tire and some cans of fix-a-flat if you plan to
spend all night hunting the dirt.
