which is preferable in your opinion for adult Northerns?
2X2X3 ft (vertical)
or
3X2X2 ft (horizontal)
I know there may be a better heat gradient with the horizontal but I note that some Northerns love to spend the night with their tails wrapped to the highest branch and their heads near the bottom and I figure that position is probably good exercise for them.

We've been using 24" x 24" x 22" cubes for single adults with no problems. I would be curious to see if another foot of height might be more beneficial for bowel movements, especially for those who can't exercise during the cold months.
