how I be able to

catch and keep rattlesnakes of southern california I cant find any thing on it but I know very much about rattlers so thanks for any help

I believe CA law prohibits any exotic venomous, but you can keep up to 2 specimens of each native species.

California state law has no regluations regarding the sport take of any native rattlesnake. You dont even need a fishing license. However, I know keeping them is a felony in Los Angeles county (which I am in) so if you are in a different county you may wish to check on the county regulations. California fish and game will not allow you to breed them for sale or to sell wild caught ones, though.
