Mi first q is mi leo is a little more than 8 ins so can he eat supers if not wat else should i feed him beside waxies and crix and i will not feed him pinkies (shutter)
Mi second is do u people take ur leos outside why and wat can i do with them outside

I am a leo lover i currently own only 1 leo but who cares. ialso have a fire-bellied toad and a shiba inu which is a japanese dog.

You might want to try butterworms I hear their really high in protien. They take them outside to show off and so forth. My male lizard likes to go outside and lay on a few rocks and heat up sometimes, but its all up to the lizards personality.

yes, you sure can feed it supers. and i take mine outside to take pics of them, but there is really no need to other then the better lighting. what do you need them outside for?

The leo is big enough to handle supers. Besides supers and crix, you can feed mealies, silkworms, butterworms, and waxworms.

My reptile vet said it is good to take them outside and let them sit in the sun for a while. just make sure its not, too hot, to cold or that something can get to them. he also said that even though they are nocturnal, the uvs are good for their skin and stuff once in a while.
