my green tree frog died

newbie2frogs May 20, 2004 07:28 PM

Hi I am new to frogs, read all I could find before setting up a 15 gal tank with screen lid, uth, some forest bed, fake plant, background, some moss from pet store, and water dish not filled too high, used dechlorinated water, fed appropriate size of crickets (dusted) but the frog died. I dont know why. Any suggestions or ideas will be appreciated. I love animals and an sad to loose this one.

Forgot to mention I also have a temp./humidity gauge, and a day lite and nite lite.

Don't be discouraged by this. All creatures will die eventually...it's, well, inevitable.
I had three healthy thriving tree frogs and then I added two more and one of them died the next morning. I don't know why, but I assume it was natural.
Try again, don't be discouraged and I am sure you will raise a nice healthy pet!
