Question about night bulb

fadetolemons May 20, 2004 07:39 PM

So i got one of these night bulbs. It's an Exo Terra "Night Glo" bulb. So this won't bother my leo at all? I just set it up at my baby albino's cage to try it out. can he see the light at all? Does it bother him? will it keep him from sleeping or keep him from coming out of his hides?

Well, I,m pretty sure he can see it....I also use that bulb and my asia doesnt seem to mind it at all...she comes out just fine at night.....I think I've been told (correct me anyone if im wrong) the only light they cant see is infrared?....I'm not positive on this....anyhow, the moon glo bulb I've found works great though.

I've heard that too but those bulbs are $$$!!

I've used a plain red bulb they don't seem to notice, regular light though they'll cheeze it.

you don't really need a night bulb if you have adequate heat ie, under tank heaters.
