In my opinion it sounds like a great deal. I have talked with Alan off and on about these and I think I will go with making an order for a few of those, and a few of his 3'ers instead of going with the visions or boaphiles. (the added size, sturdy material and since I am friends with Alan. of course.lol)

Thanks Randy, I have read some of you posts, you seem to know your cages. If you think it is a good cage, and you would spend your money on them, then I think I found my cage. THANKS
Its been a while, and "Jungle Habitat" sounds so very fimilar to me.. but i do not see a link on the main page?
Could you post it?

their 4 footers are only $199 shipped.. and come with heat (no light)

i think i should take the time to get my comments all in 1 post lol
The boaphile are the same 199 shipped but with no light and are 48x24x11.5
I had wanted to get some of the Moonstruck ones.. but am waitin to hear the Height on some of them. Im not TOOOO fond of the middle support lip on them either, but the tanks look well built.
The main reasons I am leaning toward the Jungle Habs are I like the 1/2" material being used as it is a bit more sturdy (which the moonstruck and boaphiles are very very sturdy don't get me wrong on that) and also since I am friends with Alan I think I would prefer sending my funds to a friend for a product that is as good as any of the competition. The bonuses to them all equal out the one thing that has to be considered is that Jungle habitats which are built out of 1/2" material can handle a beating a bit better then the others.

"...when im a good snake, they sometimes throw me a rat..."
yup boaphile, moonstruck and even vision has a new 4' with more width which is 28" all these for only 199 shipped. Im thinking of moonstruck which is suppose to be similar to boaphile but Im choosing moonstruck because it comes with heat. 199 shipped you cant beat that.
yes i wanted to buy 6 or 7 of them myself. I sent an email to them asking if their 4 footers all had that middle center support and they replied that no only their expandable ones had them?? So i asked if i could see other pictures.. and was sent more pictures of tanks that had that middle suppport bar on the outside. I dont think they understood what i meant.
At 199 shipped with heat they are a good deal and almost identical to boahile - in looks. I just dont like the center support - or the double window.. im REALLY wanting just 1 long window so the snakes dont try and wrap around that bar when taking them out
I don't think the snake wraping around the center bar would be a problem, if you just lowers one of the doors to remove the snake. You would only open both doors for cleaning. Quick question on the flexwatt. Some of the cages are installed with 11'flexwatt while others have wider flexwatt. Does this mean you get a warm spot just the width of what the flexwatt is? When my adult coils up it's alot widder than 11", maybe 20".
Actually yea your right. I think im just not likeying the middle bar and am making excuses HAHA. But you definately cannot beat Their price for a cage and heating. As far as the flexwat goes. i believe the 11 is the largest you can get.. the larger ones are probably just 2 of them placed on end or wired up and laid side by side. I have contacted the makers of flexwat directly ALONG time ago and they sent me a sheet of their prices by the spool..(i think it was more for home application, ill look for it).. but yes the hot spot will be directly above the flexwatt.. with the heat radiating out heating up the tank. Ive never really been to fond of flewat.. im more of a Pro Radiant Heat pannel guy myself
I checked the moonstruck site and their tape is 18" wide and boaphile uses something like 21". I might be dumb and just not seeing right maybe?
no your right. For the most part the largest you will see will see being sold is 11 and not these 18 and 21 or whatever size it was. But the same holds true. YOu will still have a hot spot directly over the heatape..
