safe plants?

salvia ferinicia? (sage)

I would steer clear of the salvia. Even though this is strictly an ornamnetal and not used in cooking. They still have (albeit lower amount) volatile oils that could potentially irritate skin and most assuredly if eaten. most orchids are safe plants.
