Alot of gender guaging depends on what type of Uromastyx it is. I have a Mali which are dichromatic meaning males and females "generally" have different colors, although some females can mimic the males. "Generally" the males exhibit more bright colors while the females seem more drab in appearance. Also, the males usually have a slightly different size and shaped head. If you see two in a picture and you know one is a male and one is a female you'll probably be able to tell the difference.
