Help needed

I am planning on getting a cresty. butthere is a problem:
the temp in my house is 70-76 daily. but according to my room's thermomiter its 80!! is that too high for a cresty or could i keep a fan blowing on the cage or keep it in the basement with artificial lights please help thanks!!!
