Funny story,
I was about to put my 3' female tegus food bowl in her enclosure when all hell broke loose. I opened the door and she flew (literally flew) out of the cage (two feet off the ground), mouth open. She landed on the ground and started coming after my toes! I grabbed her and she calmed down in my hands before I returned her to the enclosure. Yikes! Her feeding response seems to be getting more and more agressive. Fun!
Anyone else have crazy feeding stories?

My tegu is usually pretty good but sometimes if he's really super hungry he'll come flying at me, really fast!, and I have to throw some food in his cage to get him back in there! He did it today but he just jumped out of his hiding place to the tongs. Its like he's in one place one minute and across the cage in the next!
