i know their not like actually alligators but do these guys like to swim, and i live in canada (calgary) and i was wondering if any of u have seen or heard of them being in this part of the country?

I have found manny S. Aligator Lizards neer water and or moist places here in N. California but never in the water. The pair I Collected and observed last year rarly ever went to the water I provided to them.
