There are a few regulars who stick around all the time and some others who show up every now and then. We all enjoy our animals for what they are and share a common passion.

Welcome. Make yourself at home.

I think I know which froum you're talking about...and you're right in some ways, it can get a bit nasty at times over there.

I have a theory about that. The boa market is a much more competetive market than the rainbow boa market. More people (myself included) breed boas...and there is an awful lot going on in that market right now with the "motley," and "possible super motley," coming into play.

There is envirnment over there than can make people alot of money...and I think people are threatened by each other. It's funny, I catch myself getting involved in some of the debates...but mostly, I would rather just make friends.

This is by far my favorite forum, Jeff, and Linda(sunshine), Iman(Triniian), and others, are great people that seem to just enjoy what they do.

Welcome, Chris

I think the Boa Forum is no where near as BAD as, say the Ball Python Forum and the Ball Python industry. There's also a lot of stuff going on that isn't quite apparent/obvious in the forums so a lot of outside factors play in. Anyways, I do have to agree and say that money sometimes has a lot to do with it.

I personally wish that everyone could be happy for everyone else. I do this for the love of the animals. I absolutely love BOAS...I don't know why or really what it is about them that I love so much more than other reptiles but I just adore them. When I see another breeder produce a cool new morph or whatever, I am HAPPY for them. Unfortunately not everyone feels the same way...jealousy is a big factor...but there's nothing you can do about those people except to steer clear.

Oh well...you can't make everyone happy and I don't have the time to worry about those individuals...LOL!
