Hi all, hope your season is going well.
Just wanted to share a pic of my largest
clutch to date. 11 eggs from a 3000g female.
Clutch #12 for the season, with more to follow...

Now does this mean all those babies are considered to be from a "giant line" of ball pythons?
100% het for 11 egg clutches for sure!

Didn't you have a few females with larger ovulations then her? What's next....16 egg clutch!

yes, I think that's funny. I've seen a few times
over the years where people advertise that their
line of ball pythons have 'large clutches' or 'high
female baby ratios' or 'high pastel ratios'.

Yes, I do have several females that are larger than
the female that gave me 11 eggs. She was 3000g. I've
got a couple that are between ovulation and eggs right
now that are in the 3400g range. I'm hoping I'll break
my 11 record soon! Of course, last year, my largest
female (~3000g) only gave me 6 eggs! She is pictured
below a few weeks before laying eggs. I thought she
was going to explode! You never know what
is going to happen. Last year, I had a female that was
1800g give me 8 eggs, and earlier this year I actually had
a 1250g female give me 6 eggs!! You never know...

The largest clutch I've heard of was someone here on the
forums last year that posted pics of 2 different clutches
that each had 17 (or was it 18?) eggs. Wow!
