I have a few leopard geckos. I was just wondering if there are any other geckos that don't mind being handled. I would love an AFT which I have heard are even friendlier than most leopard geckos. I really love knob tail geckos as well, do they mind being handled? What about crested geckos...? Thanks for any info.

As you can see, I have both cresties & AFT's and they both love to be handled.....my one crestie actually looks forward to it, as soon as my wife goes to the screen to open it, he jumps right out to her. =o)

I can't decide. Aft or crested? both are so neat for different reasons. I think I might go for a crested, only because afts are so close to leos and I already have three. Plus their facial expressions are SO cute. Thanks for the relpies.

Lol, my baby crested does the exact same thing! Whenever I take him out, he jumps onto my hand and doesn't even mind being touched. He doesn't run away and enjoys the attention.

Whoo hoo, I realized that I have everything a crested gecko needs, correct me if I'm wrong.

25 gallon tank and screen hood
a heat lamp if needed
a uv light if needed
a few logs
a vine
a reptile den (do they like these?)
food and water dishes
crickets (I have to reasearch their food a bit more)
thermometer

all I need are some plants I think, oh and a humidity gauge.
Would you all recomend one or two in a 25 gallon (bear in mind, it is not a tall tank, about 16" or 18"? If I ended up getting hatchlings, I have a 15 gallon I could put them in when they are young. I won't be able to check this for a couple of weeks, I'm going to Hawaii Whoo Hooo... Thanks for all of your help, I'm getting so excited, about both the geckos and hawaii.

what about your Oedura castlenaui? Do they mind handleing?
