Hypo Snow Corns need more info..............

Hoppy May 21, 2004 10:15 AM

Well, below one of the guys posted about a hypo Snow Corn Morph. I had always beleived that the Hypo trait was "out powered" by the Amel gene when it came to snows but now a few of you guys are saying different? I have always gotton two different types of snow corns from my babies, one with lots of pinks like this one (the type that many are calling Bubble Gum Snows) and others that are just more white with some yellow on the chin area. The Hypo gene is so breed into my snakes that I can't say for sure if the pink Snows are Hypo influanced or not. Don or Kathy can you guys provide more info on this subject, I am very curious about it.
Thanks

Talk to Don about them. He and I corresponded many times about hypo snows over the past year or two, he'll be more than happy to tell you about them.

There are a couple other breeders working with Hypo Snows, not just Don, so it's probably not just a hidden trait in Don's snakes like you suspect.

I actually had my hypo snow project sold last fall, luckily for me the guy changed his mind while I was holding them for him. I'm very excited about this project. The pre-lay was on the 14th, so eggs should be coming any day now
