I caught (what I believe to be a female)Texas horned lizard. Just for observation and then let it go. Yes they are finally getting active. Of some note for the sake conversation, she was out on the road and extremely dark in coloration, after picking her up I noticed she was covered in a dark sand like mud which is all around the area, so she may have just come out of hobernation with in the last week or so, because it's obvious she has not shed. I don't know how to send pictures but as soon as I figure that out I will send you a few pictures when ever I run into these little guys.
