He is just about 1 year old now. He moved in a few months
ago. If you can, build it to fit a window so your ig can
look outside. That is Digit's favorite past time.

I used oak wood and plexiglass and the doors slide. I took
melamine shelving and used velcro strips to hold it in place.
That way it comes off for easy washing. I used real branches
which I sterilized for bugs and took artifical greens, drilled
small holes into the branches, and secured the greens with
epoxy glue. He has a floor to ceiling cat tree from Walmart
but I removed the carpet on it because there is catnip in it
and used sissal rope to wrap the cat tree. He has 2, 4' Reptisun
5.0 UVB bulbs inside the habitat which creates a lot of heat
and then a 40-100 watt regular bulb in 1 corner for a basking
area.

You can barely see him at the top right under his light.
That gives you an idea of the size. The back upper half
is plexiglass so he can see out his window. I am not real
creative, but did a lot of reading and really enjoyed building
it. (with a lot of help from my husband)

Hope this helps
Linda

When I talked about the melamine shelving and velcro strips
what I meant to say was I affixed indoor/outdoor carpeting
with the velco, not that I used the the velcro to hold the
shelves.

Sorry
