hi guys...need alittle info..as you knopw i bought 4 beardys and my mate took one..well anyway he was saying his hasnt grown so i popped round tonight and hes not joking...in 2 months or so it hasnt grown a centimetere...i mean its not grown atall ..no exagerating..i realised just how much mine are thriving when i seen his..its strange as he has a uv light the whole length of vi etc..and my uv is only half length of viv..also his is so unfriendly it just runs away..and looks terrified.and trys to jump out your hand when you do hold him...mine were like that for a week or so but now love to be handled..it eats crickets fine..and there dusted with calc vits etc..his dont eat any greens and mine love greens.could that be the reason??does greens speed up growth???...also its in a 4ft by 2ft by 2ft viv...im guessing viv is too big just now for him as hes only bout 5 inches.well im hoping thats reason,his toilets are fine and he looks very alert etc..but he acts more like a green anola...lol.. if you guys could have any info it would be appreaciated..i have taken it off him put it in 2ft viv to see if i can get it too grow as thats where mine grew..i now have mine in large viv but mine are like monsters now..thanks again guys..

ok, well i'm by no means a pro, and i'm just now starting to try to answer questions, lol, so heres my shot, but don't just go by what i say, lol, yea, first off, i'd check how much this dood is feeding it, i had a friend who got a bearded dragon about a month before i did, and by the time i had gotten mine, and it had already doubled in size, my friends had grown about an inch (this friend is very young, and not too bright, lol, i'd be more to call her an aquitance...) but yea, it turns out that she decided that she couldn't afford to feed her's as much as it could eat adn limited feeding to like 12 crix a day, and skipped days every once in awhile, so yea, check to make sure your friend is feeding it as much as it can eat every day, up to 3 times a day

Definately the viv was too big. How was he feeding it? Letting the crickets loose in the viv or feeding in a seperate container?
If the poor thing had to try to find crix in that big enclosure he probably isn't getting all the crix and wasn't enclosed enough to notice the greens.
