Recent gecko price changes

To start off with, haven't posted since they started with the user login etc, just to give you an example of how long ago it was when I used to come here 3 times a day.

I've owned an assortment of leos, water dragons, uro's, collareds, tokays, and gold dust gecks.
I now only own 1 leucistic leo and a pastel bearded dragon.

My question is this, when I was into leo's a few years back morph sales where sky high, now I see prices have fallen a TON. Yet some places still remain high priced. All morphs besides carrot-tails are included, from my research. Any reason besides over producing? Anyone have a reccomendation to a breeder? The breeders I bought from are either no longer, or have switched species. Or does anyone know how to get ahold of Bill DiFabio?

Oh yeah, I'm interested in Blizards, leucistics, albinos (rainwater), blazing blizards.

Thanks in advance.

blizzards you can get at crestedgecko or ground gecko freak for cheap.

No leucisitic leopard gecko has ever been produced in captivity, the only thing close to Leucistic are blazing blizzards.

Rainwater albinos you can get at many places.

No one sells blazing blizzards as the odds of getting one are like 500:1

The reason why the price has changed so much is because EVERYONE who owns a leopard gecko breeds them. nowadays normals are starting to cost more than albinos.

OMG!!! Look at that patty! Its a beast. How much does it weigh?

With the prices: its like Marshalls, they have the some clothes as other places but much cheaper... its the name really. Like TUB, prices are very high, but the prestige of tapping into that bloodline boosts the price of your offspring...

Well, I'm not in it for the money (not meant to sound snobby). Of all the geckos I've ever owned, the only that I have kept is my patternless female, with a regenerated tail. Mainly because, although she has an appetite for 3, she has the accuracy of Ray Charles. One legged crickets, and hand rolled wax worms get the job done.
