ways to mesure your snake

Pythons_N_Boas May 22, 2004 10:28 AM

I find it is hard to get your snake to lay completley strait. so what i do, is let my snake lay there and get some kite string. run it down his back, and snip it where his tail is. then you have a peice of string witch is alot eayser to work with than a snake. and pluss, you can keep them, and caulate his growth.

thaks for listening

Wow! I think it was just such a technical bit of information, no one was able to come up with an equally intelligent comment..

good thinking... but how do you measure the string if it isn't laying straight??

Pythons_N_Boas May 23, 2004 01:23 AM

ok i was trying to be helpfull, didnt know that you all would think it was stupid. i had trouble mesuring my snake, and i figured this out. i figured there are probley other people out there with the same problem. next time, insted of being sarcastic, just dont post. saves you from lookin like a ass.

I'm sorry.. it looked like you wanted a response. I was just in one of those "quacky" moods I guess.

again.. good thinking! I'm sure you'll have a great collection of strings as your boa grows.

personally, I just write the measurement down in a notebook. but you have a good system too.

take care.

its all good. no, i dont do it just to colect the strings, it is eayser to mesure, and you can get a exact mesurement.
