well, since one of my newts died, i only have one left. do you think i should get another one to keep it company?

well, since one of my newts died, i only have one left. do you think i should get another one to keep it company?
Well, not really. It is probally much better off anyways being alone. Im taking it as the only animal in the tank so that leaves no competition for food, water, and even less likely hood of getting a disease.

I think that depends highly on the species and the specific animal. They don't necessarily NEED company, but I find that all my newts do very well together, and during breeding season they definitely WANT to be around other newts!
