How much does an average baby corn snake usually cost? An adult?

Depends on where you go. I bought a corn at a petco for $40. I was fortunate that she/he was healthy from the start. They tend to not care for their reptiles properly. My second corn I bought at a reptile expo for $45.
At reptile expos I've seen them cost any where from $10 (babies not eating) to a $100 jungle corn baby. (very pretty little snake) :0) I saw adults at another reptile store in California that were selling for around $125.
I'm thinking about getting another corn. If I do I want to buy it from a reputable breeder at a reptile expo.
Thing is do research on what you want and you'll be much more happier in the long run.

As always...I am in total agreement that reptile shows are the best places to buy snakes. I went to the All Ohio Show this morning, and the combination of value and selection is great. I can usually find well-fed baby corns in the $20-$25 range, more for adults or rare morphs. As I stated in a post below, I have paid $10-$15 for most of my corns, but the $10 ones were from a breeder friend of mine who will give me his dealer/friend price.
The $15 ones are a pair of normal/okeetee that I picked up at the Ohio show in Dec. They were obviously eating well when I got them, and have not missed a meal since. One of the things I like about corns and other N. AM. ratsnakes is that you can find great ones for very reasonable prices if you know where to look. I saw some hatchling everglades rats this morning for $15 each...kinda hard to resist...but I did. I have enough hungry mouths to feed just now. Duffy
