It's amazing the colors they develop from babies until adults. It's hard to believe when I see some update pics posted that it is the same snake in the other pic.

Hi Randy
Now thats a looker . I love the tail blotch colors .You breeding any Jani this year ?
I had a male that was allmost as nice as your but he died a couple weeks after I warmed him up this year .
If any body has adult proven male for sale , I would be intersted .
Jason
Thanks Jason,
Sorry to hear about your male. That truly sucks.
I have one female that I will be breeding with him next year and a second for the year after.
Awesome pictures I have seen you posting by the way. Later, Randy
is really great in these guys. My pair are only yearlings, but are changing with each shed. Great jani Randy, congrats!
old (baby) pic first and is the mate of these next two pics, a little older pic in the middle of the mate, and a somewhat recent pic last with the orange starting to really show towards the head.

Have a good one,
Gregg F.

Those are going to be killer jani. You'll be set in a couple years.
With mine, I have been amazed at how much they change not only the first year but they just continue to get better and better each year.
This is a female of mine at about one year. Randy

Pardon my ignorance again but are these Bullsnakes?
They are actually Mexican Bullsnakes, P. deppei jani but are also called Jan's Bullsnake, Jan's Gopher Snake, Mexican Pine Snakes, Northern Mexican Pines, and i'm sure there are others i missed that someone may point out. So some call them pines and others call them bulls, i'm not sure what the true classification is but i've read Mexican Bullsnake. The easiest way i find to talk about them is by using deppei deppei or deppei jani.
