Can anyone tell me how to force feed ball pythons?

Thank you for any replies!

First of all, why do you feel that you need to take this step? How long has it been since your snake has eaten? What other methods have you tried? This should probably be a last resort effort. There are many other things you can try first to get your snake to eat.

I wouldn't force feed him if I were you. Ball Pythons are VERY picky eatters. Ball Pythons can go for months without eatting anything as long as they don't get lethargic or lose to much weight!

Did you just buy a baby from a pet store? If so you should have asked if it was feeding on fuzzy mice yet. Some mom-pop pet stores will sell you snakes that won't eat or haven't eatten at all since hatching.

How big is the snake?
When was the last time he ate?
What is the temp.inside the enclosure?
What is the humidity level?

Ball's natural food source are gerbils...see if any local pet shops sell baby gerbils or gerbil sent you can use on some pinkie/fuzzy mice.
