Incubation question....>>>>>

Cleopatra Jun 17, 2003 05:00 PM

How many weeks does it take for leo eggs to hatch if they are incubated between 80-85 degrees? I have it down on my calendar to look for the hatching process at around 7-8 weeks after the start of incubation. Is that right?
*I have no clue what I am gonna do with the remaining babies should they hatch!!! lol...guess I'll need to get a couple more tanks!!!*

Also, is there anyway to tell if a hatchling is a normal or a high yellow???

keep an eye out for babies at about 60 days, sometimes they take a bit longer if they are bewing incubated at the lower end of the range (80) but start looking for loud babies at 60 days

If a baby leo does not have they typical black spot on the hind legs when it is born, it is probably a high yellow.

yea, roughly 60 days. I agree with the dark shadow on the back legs but it does not mean they won't. They do alot of color changeing during their juvenile period.
