While down in Costa Rica I got a chance to see some really cool bugs as well as Herps, here ore some of them.....
This is a Whip Scorpion, We gets these here in FL just not this BIG!!!

My Wife was a trooper for this whole trip, not a big outdoorsy kind of gal to begin with, she did great!!!!

that's interesting..once, when I moved...I rented a Uhaul truck which had Florida plates and we found one of those inside (if not, it looked pretty darn close!). Needless to say, its last sight was a size 10 shoe. Not a big bug fan...in fact I'm extremely phobic.lol. Everyone teases me since I love snakes but am afraid of bugs.... they're simply two completely diff things in more ways than 1.

We found a brand new snake skin shed on the trial we were walking on, we had just passed the area about thirty minutes before and it was not there, so when we started to root around looking for the snake that belonged to the skin, we got this guy out of his burough, he is about 4-5" long and mean!...

Ok this was a Moth, but it was still pretty. I was told while there that a Moth rest with it's wings down and a Butterfly with it's wing up. There were so many beautiful Butterflies, I just couldn't get one to stay still long enough to photograph LOL..
