For the past month I've noticed a slight change in one of my yellow bellie's behavior. She seems to be healthy and is eating every night. But, she seems to be very inactive lately and sinking to the bottom of the tank where she puts her arms in and sometimes falls a sleep. Is this normal? or maybe a sign of her getting sick? Thanks!

I don't know about your turtles, but most of mine do go to the bottom and sleep there.

thanks for replying, I am just letting everyone know that I think she will be fine. I took Slider and Zucci out in the sun yesterday and they had a blast. I think she just needed a little time out of her tank!

What is your setup like? That natural sunshine does do wonders for them. I asked about the set up because I was wondering if you had the heat/basking lamp etc. all set up on their enclosure.
