Pump for sprayer heads....

thelizardking77 May 23, 2004 01:19 PM

I am building a home-made automatic sprayer for all of my cages, and was wondering what type and size of pump to use. It will have about a 30" lift to the cages then a run of about 10'. It has a 5 gallon resivor. Thanks

i had the same problem around here its hard to find a pump for under 150 (100 gpm)so i got an adapter for the sink and ran the hose to it lol just untill i did a little plumbing work!
but to answer your question im sure a 100 gpm pump will sufice
even a small sump will work but the float might get in your way

Use a 100psi pump. There easy to find and it's plenty of power.
