I put my emoryi together today and they bred instantly. Should I leave them together a few days anyway or put them back in their own tanks? Also, do I attempt to rebreed in a few days or so or just considered it done?
Thanks
Nina

A greater number of breedings has been associated with greater fertility in egg clutches produced... therefore, you want them to breed as many times as possible.
I would personally separate them and reintroduce many times each month... I personally believe that this species will breed more times during a season if separated and reintroduced frequently vs. kept together continually.
My suggestion is to separate them for feeding and perhaps a day or two afterward. Keep them together only until copulation is completed or until next feeding if breeding is not observed. Continue this process throughout the breeding season.
... once again, do what causes them to breed as many times as possible.
Thanks so much for your reply! I kept them together since yesterday and since the breedings, they have just kinda been ignoring each other.
I'll think I'll put them together each weekend for the next month. We feed on Tuesdays and Fridays, so I'll let them together on Saturday and Sundays.
Thanks!
Nina
