Hostas.. safe?

waffles May 23, 2004 05:43 PM

I'm in the process of putting together a nice tank for perhaps a green tf or wtf to live in. I was wondering if hostas were safe for frogs? I'm guessing so, but I'd like some reassurance on this. And if they are, do you think they'd be hard to keep?
I was considering hostas becuase they have nice big leaves for frogs to lounge around on.

Thanks,
-Melissa

I don't think they are. Check the plant list on http://www.thefrog.org to be sure.

Thanks! The link to the toxic/non-toxic site wont work for me. I'll just forget about the hostas, there are plenty of other plants to choose from.
