for the last 2 days iv only seen it come out of its hiding spot onec and that was when the night glo light was on and all the other lights off and it only came out for a drink then went back in is this normal

yep,sounds like a happy snake to me. a hiding snake is a happy snake.

Yes, normal behavior. Mine does not hide, but stays coiled for a day or two at a time. After they eat they like to hide and stay warm for at least a few days to digest. I never handle mine until the third day after feeding.....
