Identity question for all you ROACH breeders out there.

rujonesin May 23, 2004 09:24 PM

Allright, I have found two of these in my house today. I have never spotted a roach before but it is my guess that this is indeed a roach. I have had the windows open due to the awesome weather and I am thinking these just flew in. As far as I know most roaches don't fly but these are definate fliers. On the west coast (Los Angeles) I know the roaches fly and carry switchblades but I didn't think there were flying roaches in the midwest. Can anyone identify this bug with a certainty?

Actually I was told that by a roach breeder. it is their defence mechanism. apparently some lizards will eat them but after the first taste, they are less than enthusiastic.
