First eggs of the Year! WooHoo!!!!

kylewa May 23, 2004 10:31 PM

I came home from town yesterday afternoon to feed my albino male and to check one of my females for eggs. Well, the female I checked was without, so I moved on to feed my male. I noticed one of my females coiled up tight, so I looked a little closer and BAM, I saw the top of an egg peeking out! I did not even think she was gravid! In fact, I did not have an egg box in her enclosure and she moved the newspaper out of the way and laid the eggs on the plastic bottom. She was a total sweetheart and let me remove the eggs without so much as a hiss. We were proud to find 5 perfectly healthy eggs under her and immediately got them in the incubator (after pictures)! All will be 100% Het for Albino babies! I can't wait for my other females to catch up with her and drop some eggs. She laid on day 34 after her last shed (odd). Hope you all enjoy the pics!

Hey man thats great. I have a couple of kings and milkes that are gravid right now In two of them you can almost count the eggs. I'm about to bust. This will be my first set of eggs ever and I can't wait.
