Ralph Davis has friends I guess clean his cages and feed his animals, i assume he pays them. He always mentions people in his journal though that feed and clean.

they get them in bags of 100 probably...

throw them into tanks of 100 each at least...with water...(usually)...

then sell asap as mentioned before here...

alot are gotten in...bags opened to see what they can sell for more...then send off to other buyers that already ordered them...(without getting them out or watering them)...

.....look at the big tanks full at shows...you will not see a fat baby in the bunch if they are over 3 or 4 weeks old...they get skinnier and skinnier at every show....

......yep....

The people who are set up and have the resources to take in that many animals have no problem with it. The real problems arise when some guy who wants to feel special orders 500 from the classifieds and attempts to work some makeshift miracle in the rear of his trailer. Then he wonders why they start dropping off like fies after a week.

You will always have some losses when moving that many babies. The people who get in over their head are the ones who lose a majority of them though.

I am trying to teach my BOYFRIEND to care for them, but he is still kinda scared of them LOL. Right now, I only have 6 in my name and there all on hold kinda LOL. I need to get this rack done. I am looking for a adult female so that will be 7. He flipped when I told him next year I am going for a Burmese! LOL I told him just one since he is so scared, he said he will never go near it and I better keep it away from him, LOL, in less than 2 months he will be showing my snakies off! That's how it always goes, but he has to see someone else and me hold them a few times, then he will hold them but not close or for long. He gains trust for a month or so first, but then it is around the neck and showing everyone and anyone. Wierd, I NEVER was scared of snakes (used to catch them all the time when I was a little kid, and now breeding them, next season anyway, I lived in the city and he lived in Missouri and is TOTALLY outdoorsy, and is STILL scared of them LOL.
