incubation medium better a little too wet or a little too dry? n/p

well the incubation medium need to be damp, however in my personal experience i would rather have it a little on the dry side than the wet. you can always mist the vermiculite if its a bit too dry but you can remove any extra moisture. best thing to do is soak your vermiculite in water,,then reach on the contaciner you have it in and grab a handfull, squeeze as much water as you can out of the vermiculite... put it in your incubation container and repeat til you have the desired amount of vermiculite. i use deli cups and put vermiculite in it to right below the pre punched holes. i then get some tape and tape over all the hole but two, for ventalation. usually by using this method i very rarely have to even mist durring the whole incubation period, although sometimes i do if it feels like its getting to dry. this has been my experience and thus far as worked great
