Frog calls and vocalizations

ecologic72 May 24, 2004 10:54 AM

Typically, at what age do arrow frogs begin to call? Does the onset of vocalization indicate the frog is mature or will young, precocious frogs also call?

Has anyone heard of a female Dendrobate frog calling?

It all depends on the species, can be as young as 3 months to over a year.
