I'm interested in these guys but have never kept a crocodilian before and was wondering what to expect. How tame do they become? How large, and what do experienced keepers prefer as far as diet. Thanks.

Dwarf caiman you are looking at a size at about 41/2 feet. I do not consider any crocodilians as pets. I am working with niles, mortolets, spectacled, and alligators. I am still looking to expand. Some of my animals are very laid back but they are still wild animals. Ronnie
Thanks for the info. Is there a market for captive bred dwarf caimans? I'm most interested in these, because of their smaller size.
There is a market but it takes a lot of home to breed. I have a female spectkled caiman she is 5 feet and is even easier to work with than gators. I know she is cb it hard to find cb animals. Ronnie
