I had this problem with some of my Cal King eggs... just a few days after being laid the egg on the top of one of the piles started to deflate.... and now this is what I have: The semi collapsed one on the other pile is still semi collapsed, but the two blue eggs are definately dead. I think the rule of thumb (experts correct me if I'm wrong) is that blue/green mold is a sign of egg death, white mold is a sign of a surface problem, but not necessarily the death knell of the eggs. I'm sure hoping so, as I have two corn eggs with white mold, in addition to these two blue eggs in this clutch.
