My first thought was the ramp is too steep. They negotiate it well. Neat setup in a confined space.

Beautiful tegus, and very creative setup. Thanks for posting; you just gave me my answer as to how to do my ramp so my tegus can get to the "second story." I keep reading that tegus are not supposed to climb, but, as I suspected, the tegus have never read the book.
